Larkay Gardens sold at an auction held at the Birmingham Airport Inn. Potential buyers inquired of the property from Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Baltmore, New York and Boston. The auction was advertised all over the east coast with the buyer coming from New York City. The buyer said that he thought the buying process was very simple and streamlined. The same buyer has since then had representatives at other Target Auction Company sales and has said that he plans to attend more in the future.
